What is bone grafting procedure

Dental bone grafting is a type of oral surgery procedure that increases the volume and density of a patient’s jawbone, either prior to or during implant surgery.

An oral surgeon or a dentist with surgical training uses bone graft material—such as Vitality Bone (sourced from an organ donor and processed by a tissue bank)—to augment areas of the jaw where additional bone is needed.

Vitality Bone maintains space in the patient’s jaw, allowing the body to regenerate natural bone in that area. It acts as a scaffold on which the patient’s own bone tissue can grow and regenerate.
