W&H Dental Irrigation Tubing
For optimal performance and to protect your W&H implant drill unit, we strongly recommend using genuine W&H irrigation tubing. Using third-party tubing may lead to leakage and potential damage to your equipment.
W&H irrigation tubing comes in a box of 6 individually wrapped, sterile, pieces of tubing. This particular item is the complete tubing set and includes the spray tubes and spike assembly all in one unit.
The 2.2m length tubing fits the W&H Implantmed (SI-1015), W&H Implantmed (SI-915), Elcomed (SA-310), and Piezomed (SA-320) surgical consoles with the 1.8m length cable, and the 3.8 m length tubing fits the same consoles with the 3.5 m cable.
W&H disposable luer-lock irrigation tubing comes in a box of 10 individually wrapped, sterile, pieces of tubing compatible with the W&H Implantmed classic, Elcomed, and Piezomed surgical consoles. This particular item is the irrigation tubing with luer-lock. It needs to be assembled with the pump tubing, spike, and roller clamp to be a complete irrigation tubing set.
Why do you need the Irrigation Tubing during the surgery?
The W&H surgical drill unit includes a built-in pump that works seamlessly with W&H irrigation tubing to deliver a consistent, controlled flow of irrigation fluid during bone drilling. This helps maintain optimal temperature and enhances surgical accuracy.
Manual or external hand irrigation often leads to inconsistent fluid delivery and limits the surgical assistant’s ability to efficiently support the procedure. Using W&H irrigation tubing frees up hands and ensures smoother workflow and instrument handling.
Insufficient irrigation during drilling can cause dangerous overheat, increasing the risk of bone necrosis. W&H irrigation tubing provides reliable fluid delivery, minimizing this risk and supporting better patient outcomes.
